Bespoke Shopify ↔ Syspro integration

Shopify ↔ Syspro integration, built around the way your operation actually runs.

A custom-built connector between your Shopify (or Shopify Plus) storefront and Syspro ERP — orders, stock, pricing, customers, invoices and Stripe payouts flowing automatically. No more midnight CSV exports, no more month-end reconciliation chaos. Senior engineers, fixed scope, EU data residency.

What we sync

Every entity Shopify and Syspro need to agree on.

Order in Shopify → invoice in Syspro. Refund in Shopify → credit note in Syspro. Stripe payout → reconciled bank entry. No manual exports, no end-of-month spreadsheet reconciliation, no “where did this €4,231 come from” questions from finance.

Orders → Syspro Sales Orders

Every Shopify order lands as a Syspro sales order with the correct customer, warehouse, ship-to address, VAT codes and line discounts. Bundles split into their components automatically.

Inventory ↔ Shopify

Syspro on-hand quantities push to Shopify in near real time — multi-warehouse aware, with safety-stock buffers configurable per SKU. No oversells on a Black Friday spike.

SKUs & pricing

Syspro is the source of truth for SKU master data and price lists. Customer-specific pricing (B2B) and bulk-break pricing carry through to Shopify automatically.

Customers & accounts

B2B accounts flow both ways. Trade customers see their account-specific pricing and credit terms; new web customers land in Syspro with the right account class and rep assignment.

Invoices & credit notes

Fulfilment in Syspro generates the invoice; refunds in Shopify generate a Syspro credit note. Your finance team posts to the ledger, not to spreadsheets.

Stripe payout reconciliation

Every Stripe / Shopify Payments payout reconciles to the underlying orders, fees and refunds — so the deposit in your bank matches the Syspro receipts to the cent.

Manual reconciliation, gone

The hours you spend stitching Syspro and Shopify together — back.

We replace the exports, the macros and the “Mary copies the figures across on a Tuesday morning” ritual with a real-time, monitored, idempotent pipeline. You keep your accounting source of truth in Syspro; Shopify just becomes another channel that posts cleanly.

  • Stop exporting Shopify orders to CSV and re-importing into Syspro every morning. The handoff happens in seconds, with idempotent retries on transient errors.

  • Stop the “Mary copies the figures across on a Tuesday morning” ritual — the integration is monitored, alerted and self-healing.

  • Stop oversells because Shopify thinks you have stock but Syspro just shipped the last unit on a wholesale order. Inventory updates are warehouse-aware and near-real-time.

  • Stop month-end Stripe reconciliation. Every payout matches Syspro line by line — fees, refunds, currency conversion all reconciled.

  • Stop “why didn’t this customer get their trade pricing” emails. B2B price lists from Syspro drive Shopify checkout pricing.

How it’s built

You own the code. EU data residency. No vendor lock-in.

Note 01

Built with a queue-based middleware (Python / Postgres / Redis) sitting between Shopify webhooks and the Syspro API. Order spikes get queued, retried and delivered in order — no API rate-limit failures.

Note 02

Every webhook is logged, idempotent and replayable. If something fails, your team can see exactly where and re-run that single event — no full re-sync, no data risk.

Note 03

You own the source code and the deployment. We hand over a Git repository, a runbook and a 30-day support warranty. After that, you can self-host, hand it to your in-house team, or keep us on a retainer — your call.

Note 04

EU data residency by default. The middleware runs in an EU region (typically AWS Dublin or Hetzner Frankfurt). No customer data crosses to a US-based SaaS connector.

Common questions

Shopify ↔ Syspro — what people actually ask.

Which Syspro versions do you support?

We’ve worked with Syspro 8 and the current Syspro release. We integrate via the Syspro REST API where available and the SOAP business-object layer for the older operations. The choice depends on which Syspro modules you have licensed — we confirm in the discovery call.

How long does a typical Shopify ↔ Syspro build take?

Most projects are live in 6–10 weeks from kick-off, depending on catalogue size and how clean the SKU master data is in Syspro. Discovery and entity mapping take 1–2 weeks; build and test takes 4–6 weeks; UAT and go-live takes 2 weeks.

Do you handle multi-warehouse stock?

Yes. The integration can be configured single-warehouse-only, primary-warehouse-only, or summed across multiple warehouses with optional per-channel allocation rules. This is a discovery conversation — we won’t guess.

What about B2B with customer-specific price lists?

Supported. B2B customers log into Shopify and see their Syspro price-list pricing; we use Shopify B2B or a custom checkout depending on your tier. Credit terms and rep assignment also carry through.

Can we keep our existing Shopify theme?

Yes — this is integration work, not a re-platform. We touch the theme only where the checkout or product page needs to surface integration data (e.g. real-time stock, trade pricing).
