Galway Software Company. Bespoke Software, Built Properly.

Cloudvoro builds bespoke business software for established SMEs in Galway and across Ireland — custom applications, portals, workflow automation and integrations between the systems your business already runs on.

Cloudvoro is part of Intellix Group, based at 1 Emmett Street, Thurles, County Tipperary. Galway is served as a regional client base; we do not operate a separate Galway office.

For established Galway SMEs that need bespoke applications, portals, workflow automation or systems integration — not consumer apps or pure marketing websites.

Who hires us

Galway SMEs at four common turning points.

Owner-managed SMEs at the limit of spreadsheets

Businesses where the operational logic now lives in five different Excel files, three shared inboxes and one person's memory. The first build typically gets the process out of spreadsheets without losing the flexibility that made spreadsheets work in the first place.

Operational businesses that need a portal

Customer portals, supplier portals, contractor onboarding, document upload, status tracking and signed-off audit trails — replacing the email-and-attachments model that scales badly past 20-30 users.

Businesses gluing several SaaS products together

Sage + Shopify + Microsoft 365 + a CRM + a booking platform, all loosely connected by Zapier and good intentions. We replace the brittle glue with a proper integration layer that exposes the data you actually want to act on.

Established SMEs with a reporting gap

Data is in the operational systems but nobody trusts the numbers because they're assembled by hand in Excel each month. We build the reporting layer once, properly, so finance and ops stop arguing about which version is current.

What we build

Custom software development for Galway businesses.

Bespoke business applications

Internal tools, customer portals, supplier portals, operational dashboards, scheduling systems and line-of-business apps tailored to the way your business actually runs — not the way a SaaS product wants you to run.

Workflow automation

Replace email-driven processes with structured workflows: approvals, hand-offs, status tracking, notifications and audit trails. Saves hours per week per person and removes the dependency on tribal knowledge.

Systems integration

Connect Microsoft 365, Sage, Shopify, Salesforce, EPOS, booking platforms, accounting software and bespoke databases. We map the data flow, agree the boundary, then build it once with proper error handling and monitoring.

Data and reporting platforms

Pull data from your operational systems into a single trustworthy view — dashboards, reports, KPIs and exports for finance, ops and leadership. We treat reporting as a product rather than an Excel afterthought.

Legacy modernisation

Re-platform spreadsheets, Access databases or ageing desktop applications into modern web apps. Migration is paced — your operations keep running while we move you off the old system.

Hosting, deployment and ongoing support

Built apps deployed to the right cloud environment for your business — Azure, AWS or Cloudflare — with monitoring, backups and an agreed ongoing improvement budget rather than a hand-off-and-vanish model.

Technology approach

Stack chosen for the job, not the other way around.

We're not religious about any single technology. The right stack is the one that fits the business problem, the existing environment and the people who will maintain the software after we hand over. Common choices:

  • 01React, Next.js, TypeScript
  • 02FastAPI (Python), Node.js, .NET
  • 03PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB
  • 04Microsoft 365, Sage, Shopify, Salesforce integrations
  • 05Azure, AWS, Cloudflare hosting
  • 06GitHub Actions, Docker, infrastructure-as-code

Where you already have a preferred stack — Microsoft-native, AWS-native, Cloudflare-native — we work within it.

How we deliver

Discovery-led. Fixed-price phases. No T&M surprises.

Bespoke software fails when it's billed hourly and scoped vaguely. We work in fixed-price phases with a clear definition of done — and the next phase is a separate decision you make with the previous one already delivered.

01

Discovery conversation

A working session with a senior engineer — not a sales call. We understand the business, the systems already in play and what success looks like.

02

Scoped phase proposal

A fixed-price phase with deliverables, timeline, technology choices and a clear definition of done. No open-ended T&M.

03

Build and review

Iterative build with regular demos. You see working software end-of-each-fortnight, not a 90-day silence and a big reveal.

04

Deployment and handover

Deployed to the right cloud environment for your business, monitored, documented. We train your team and provide written handover notes.

05

Ongoing improvements

Software is not a project, it's a product. We continue under an agreed improvement cadence — retainer or per-phase — without locking you in.

Working with Galway businesses

Galway is one of our active regional client bases. Engagements are delivered remotely from our Thurles base with planned on-site visits for discovery, design reviews and significant project milestones.

We do not maintain a separate office in Galway. Where the project requires sustained on-site presence we say so during discovery rather than pretending to a local footprint we don't have.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

Are you a Galway software company?
Cloudvoro is the software arm of Intellix Group. Our verified office is in Thurles, County Tipperary, and Galway is one of our active regional client bases — particularly for established SMEs and operational businesses that need bespoke software rather than off-the-shelf tooling. We do not operate a separate Galway office; engagements are delivered remotely with planned on-site visits where the work warrants it.
What sort of custom software development do you do for Galway businesses?
We build line-of-business applications, internal portals, customer / supplier portals, workflow automation, scheduling and booking systems, dashboards over operational data, integrations between off-the-shelf systems (Microsoft 365, Sage, Shopify, Salesforce, accounting and ERP platforms), and re-platform projects for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, Access databases or legacy desktop applications.
Do you work with Galway SMEs that don't have an in-house developer?
Most of our clients are exactly that. We act as the development team — discovery, design, build, deployment, hosting, ongoing improvements — without you needing to hire and manage developers directly. We document everything in plain language and give you a path to either hire in-house later or stay with us long-term.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. Integrations are one of the most common reasons businesses engage us — connecting Microsoft 365, Sage, Shopify, Salesforce, EPOS systems, booking platforms, accounting software, marketing tools and bespoke databases. We map the data flow first, agree the integration boundary, then build it once with proper error handling and monitoring rather than fragile glue scripts.
What technology stack do you build on?
We choose the stack to fit the project rather than the other way around. Common choices: React or Next.js for web front-ends, FastAPI / Node / .NET on the back-end, PostgreSQL or SQL Server for data, hosted on Microsoft Azure, AWS or Cloudflare depending on the client's existing environment. Where you already have a stack, we work within it.
How does pricing work?
Bespoke software is priced per scoped phase rather than per hour. After an initial discovery conversation we propose a fixed-price phase covering the work we agree, with deliverables, timeline and a clear definition of done. Ongoing improvements and support are handled separately — either on a retainer or per-phase basis depending on what makes sense for the business.
